I ordered these for our church primary. The kids LOVED them! The colors made it easy to learn new songs and the bells are sturdy enough to withstand some “eager” players. Teens and adults enjoy them, as well. We have had fun for all ages at church and in my own home. I would add that we have basically used the 8 bell kit, which would suffice for those that need to save money. But the 5 bell extension is an excellent buy and will allow us to have more musical options in our primary. Overall, great buy!

I would have given 5 stars if color coded cards were included with the set. It would be nice to be able to open the box and have everything needed to start playing. The ONLY modification that I can suggest for MY needs, which I will make on my own~ is that I need each bell to have a strap. So I will either use strips of velcro for each one OR drill a small hole in end of handle and insert a strap.

Bought these handbells for a special “skit” for my kid’s magic show. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. The metal is not flimsy, the handles are sturdy and the tone is perfect for my application! Handles are color coded and the note is printed on the end also. For me, the only thing that would have made this better would have been a longer handle – just because of the way my presentation goes, a longer handle would have made the task a little easier. I would recommend these bells to anyone – just as long as you bear in mind that they are designed as toys.

I was skeptical that the bells would be tuned so that they would match with other instruments. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they all were in tune when I checked them with the Cleartune Tuning app. We have several instruments that we use this app for when tuning. I’m happy to know we can add these bells to our instruments and that they are tuned well enough to be played with other instruments.
The colors also match the Kids Play/Rhythm Band handbells so if I decide to buy an expansion set or use the music made for these bells I will be able to do so. My kids are so excited to try these out and start using them.

I’ve yet to see if the colors change in the sun, but they have very pretty colors and a nice finish.
