Great gift idea for teens
Bought this for my niece as a Christmas gift. Great for people with good hand-eye coordination, cheer leaders, fun hobby. It is cooler than what I expected. Good price, shipping, delivery, everything was good. The whole family had fun taking turns playing with this. Beautiful colors. Not as easy as you would think though ; P

Worth it
So far so good they change colors well and are easy to control, the length of rope feels a bit short but it is still a good tool for learning new tricks, or just having fun. The softer exterior is a surprise from what i was expecting. Possibly in the future will buy more.

I bought this pair in anticipation of them not being very good and being a great starter pair. I was VERY surprised by the quality for the cost and will be ordering another pair tonight! They do come with batteries, the only down side is that they didn’t come with instructions and the box doesn’t list the battery size so I’ll have to take it to the store to figure out what size they take.

I received the balls about 2 weeks ago, the day after I received an email from Kayla asking if I’m happy with the product, to be honest I wasn’t. 1 of the balls didn’t work and I wanted to return it. Kayla took care of the problem immediately! She told me not to return it and that she’ll send me a new one and that was it! I just received the new box ???? Both balks work great! Everyone is super excited and happy! Can’t wait to use it this summer at the beach while camping ???? Works great ???? I bought these because I am an instructor at a dance studio. One of my baton students approached me about twirling these this year. We have practiced with them once at first the balls kept turning off if we would hit our bodies but after my fiancé readjusted the batteries we had no other issues!

Great for beginners
I just started using poi, I was told to start with light up ones then upgrade to poi with tails before I spin fire. My teacher reccomend these and they are GREAT! Fast shipping.

It was a gift for the grandkids, aged 6 and 8. They loved it. Buy a pair per child. Instructions/tricks are rampant on YouTube. Very cool. I saw kids playing with it a a Dead cover band concert, and really wanted to try them myself.

Gift for myself and they are fun to play with!! I’m not too hard them so I haven’t had any issues. I think the people who are having issues are the ones going to raves or just really rough on them because they are so caught up in the moment perhaps. Mine have hit the ground many times and I was worried they would break,but they are still going strong. Just be mindful that any product will break if you are too rough on it. Have fun, but be careful. =)

Durable & Well Built
I got this item as my first set of Poi Balls. They are durable and well built. If you happen to whack yourself in the face or other parts you’ll be happy to know the ball end is soft and absorbs most impacts so it doesn’t hurt you when you hit yourself with them! The color choices are vibrant and have different modes for solid or fading color variants. I went crazy with these to durability test them and they survived everything i could throw at them.. including throwing them!

Better than expected.
So far so good, and they arrived much sooner than expected. The lights are lovely and the ability to change the color or set the lights to morph is really great. The globes are very soft, so I don’t have to worry about my husband knocking himself out with these like he did some hard beamers.
The strings need replaced with something heavier, though.
